A V E R Y successful day...interesting, informative and fun! Thank You Katie Keen wildlife technician from the Cadillac office of the DNR! Katie shared about Michigan mammals using props (furs, skulls, scat and tracks--ok, the scat was replica scat. For that we are thankful!) Not only did we learn about piecing together clues animals leave behind; but we also got a little background on the elk and wolf population in Michigan. Check out the pics below of the kids having a fun time learning!

4th QUARTER…THE FINAL MARKING PERIOD…
Tweaking a few procedures.
Late work will be marked down 50% off the top.
Late work will not be accepted beyond the week that it is
due. This is for project type work…work of greater than 10 points. Example, if
an assignment is due on Thursday and not turned in the following day, Friday,
it will not be accepted. If it is turned in on that Friday, it will be marked
down 50% prior to grading.
If an assignment is due in class, for example a quick write,
it will not be accepted late. A zero will be given. This includes classwork for
which ample time was given to complete in class. If a student requires
additional time to complete an in class assignment, the student may get teacher
approval: this will be a signature on the paper and the paper will be due the
following day at the beginning of class. Teacher reserves the right to decline
unreasonable requests.
If a student chooses to waste time not working on an
assignment in class, the teacher reserves the right to not accept the work
late.
